Baltimore Performance Kitchen creates and presents free performances that explore big questions in order to incite meaningful exchanges with our audiences. Past artists included Liz Lerman, Bashi Rose, LOVE the poet, Vincent Thomas, Double Edge Theatre, Jessica Garrett, Elissa Goetschius, and White Flag Performance Group.

Carver Center for the Arts & Technology – Towson, MD (

Carver Center is a public arts magnet high school in Baltimore County. The school has ten primes, ranging from culinary to business. The Design & Production prime introduces students to both the design and production sides of technical theatre, including costume, set, lighting, sound, and projection design, and then set building, scenic painting, costume construction, sound engineering, electric work for lighting, projection engineering, and then the management and administrative aspects in theatre of stage management and audience relations. Over the four years, students in design and production will gain a basic understanding of every area, and then focus on one production role and one design role by their senior year, achieving proficiency in those areas.

Artist U is an artist centered, planning focused, artist to artist professional development series. Artist U starts with the notion that artists are skilled, driven, and adaptive individuals, who with a little planning help and hard work can overcome the barriers between them and greater success.

Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance – Baltimore, MD ( Executive Director, January 2010 – January 2012

The Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance works to strengthen the arts and cultural community in the Baltimore region through advocacy, member services, research, support, and convening. During the time I served as executive director, the Cultural Alliance has a staff of 2.5 employees, a board of 30 members, and an annual budget of $400,000.

Single Carrot Theatre – Baltimore, MD and Boulder, CO (
Artistic Advisor, January 2010 – December 2011
Founding Artistic Director, April 2005 – January 2010

Founded and led the theatre through four seasons, including twenty two major productions and fifteen workshops. Guided the theatre in its move from Boulder, CO to Baltimore, MD. Served as Managing Director from December 2006 to August 2008. Single Carrot Theatre is an ensemble theatre with a growing annual budget of $250,000. Single Carrot has been a TCG member theatre since 2009.
The Single Carrot Theatre ensemble is a driving force for theatrical innovation in Baltimore—championing new, diverse, and socially significant works; creating vibrant theatrical experiences; and fiercely supporting the growth of artists.

CENTERSTAGE – Baltimore, MD (
Development Associate, November 2008 – January 2010

Duties included managing corporate relations, acting as staff liaison for the board corporate committee, completing corporate proposals and ask letters, in addition to other duties.
CENTERSTAGE is the state theatre of Maryland, serving over 100,000 patrons yearly by producing an eclectic repertory for a diverse audience interested in challenging, bold, thought-provoking work.

Everyman Theatre – Baltimore, MD (
Box Office and Group Sales Manager December 2006 – December 2007

Ran box office, managed five part time box office assistants, coordinated subscription campaign, filled ticket orders, and assisted patrons with other needs.
Everyman Theatre is Baltimore’s second largest professional theatre, dedicated to presenting quality theatre that is accessible and affordable to everyone.
