A Colorado native, J. Buck Jabaily is a theatre director, arts administrator, and educator. He is the producing artistic director of Baltimore Performance Kitchen and teaches theatre at Carver Center for the Arts. Before that he was the founding artistic director of Single Carrot Theatre, and the executive director of the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance. He lives in Baltimore, MD with his wife, Giti, and their daughter, Cadence.

This webpage contains a blog (that used to be frequently) updated with ideas, thoughts, and reactions to what Buck encounters–most of the it pertains specifically to theatre. Included is some writing about each of the major plays Buck has directed over the past several years, information about Baltimore Performance Kitchen, as well as his past work with Single Carrot Theatre and Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA).

He is completing his Masters in Liberal Studies through Skidmore College in “Approaches to Artistic Leadership”, and received his BA in Theatre from the University of Colorado – Boulder in 2005.
